2. General information on data processing
As a matter of principle, we process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content. Processing regularly takes place only with the user's consent or where processing is permitted by a legal basis.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, the host processes technically necessary data in order to deliver the pages. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards.
4. Server log files
Each time the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded. This may include: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, date and time of access, and the IP address in shortened or anonymized form. This data serves the technical provision and security of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
5. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser and the padlock symbol.
6. Contact form and contact
If you contact us by email, phone or via the contact form on our website, we process the information you provide (in particular name, company, email address and your message) for the purpose of handling your request and in the event of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures; otherwise, our legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The form data is transmitted via the Web3Forms service (see Section 8). We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Download of market updates
Before downloading our market updates (PDF files, available on the German section of the website), we ask you to provide your email address. This entry is required to start the download. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest in being able to understand which content is accessed and in informing you about new issues on request (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The email address is transmitted via the Web3Forms service (see Section 8). For your convenience, your email address is stored locally in your browser so that you do not have to enter it again for each download. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by sending a message to info@tvkconsult.com.
8. Form processing via Web3Forms
For the transmission of the data from the contact form and the email prompt for market update downloads, we use the Web3Forms service (Backend Studio LLC, USA). The data you enter is transmitted to the provider's servers and forwarded from there to us by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR and, where applicable, your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider. Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards. Further information can be found in the provider's privacy policy: https://web3forms.com/privacy-policy.
9. Google Maps
This website may embed maps from the Google Maps service (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). To use the map functions, it is necessary to process your IP address and transmit it to Google. The map is only embedded with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
10. Cookies and local storage
This website does not use cookies for analysis or marketing purposes and no tracking that requires consent. For individual functions, your browser's local storage (localStorage) is used, for example to remember the email address you entered for the market update download so that you do not have to enter it again. This storage takes place on the basis of your consent or to provide the function you have requested (Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR). External services such as Google Maps are only loaded after your express consent (see Section 9).
11. Usage and performance measurement (Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights)
For the statistical evaluation of website usage, we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service of our host Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel Web Analytics works without cookies and without storing personal data on your device. Only aggregated, anonymized usage data is collected, such as pages visited, approximate region of origin, device type and referrer. Individual visitors are not identified and no cross-site tracking takes place. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly evaluation of website usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards. Further information: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
